Meet the Teacher/Fee Day - Thursday, September 2nd

Please plan to bring your child to meet his or her teacher on Thursday, September 2, 2010, between noon and 6:00 pm. Please bring the items listed on the supply list for your child's grade level. The supply lists can be found on this website (using the right sidebar) and at some local stores. Coming to "Meet the Teacher" can help your child feel more comfortable about the first day of school, and get a glimpse of who will be in the same homeroom. It's also a wonderful opportunity for you to meet the teacher, pick up the required forms, and share any important information about your child.

Back to School - Tuesday, September 7th

Students return to school on Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Please send your child to school the same way they will arrive throughout the year. Putting bus riders on the bus that first day allows the children to prepare for their new routine, and gives the transportation department a more accurate count of those needing services. 

Book a Buck - Friday Book Sales

South Hill Elementary School will be selling books for $1.00 each. We will be selling every other Friday, dates will be announced after school begins. We believe this is a great way for your child to own good books at a great price. The school does not make a profit on these books, we simply want our students reading. Please encourage your child to purchase a book!
