The Mecklenburg County Business Education Partnership, represented by Mrs. Betty Duckworth, presented South Hill Elementary School's Courtesy Club chairperson, Amanda Shook, and Principal, Joan Covington, with a donation for $506.26.

On behalf of the South Hill United Methodist Church's Misson Committee, Mr. and Mrs. Doug Child donated clothing and school supplies to South Hill Elementary School. Wal-Mart also took part in this donation by giving the committee a gift card to use to purchase clothing items. Accepting the donation for South Hill Elementary School was Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Kathy Reese.
