Courtesy Club
The Courtesy Club was created as an incentive for all students to get in the habit of using great manners. Each nine weeks one student is selected out of each homeroom to be a member of the club. These “good mannered” students get to enjoy a lunch and activity in town. This type of program was initiated at Buckhorn Elementary School several years ago and was a proven success. The students strive to be a member of the club and the staff encourages the use of good manners. This is so important to incorporate in their everyday learning environment and as they always say, “practice makes perfect”.
