Library

The South Hill Elementary Library offers students and staff access to roughly 10,000 items. It is our goal to provide interesting, up-to-date materials that support classroom instruction, topic exploration, and pleasure reading. Classes visit the library on a regular schedule to receive instruction on a variety of subjects and to check out books. Books are to be returned at the next visit, but may be renewed if the student is continuing to use the book. The book must be brought into the library for renewal. Please encourage and help your child to take care of library books and remind him/her to return books on time. We do not charge overdue fines, but damaged or lost materials do incur a charge.
